Another Festival - This time in Mevagissey 11-13th October
We have attended the shanty festival in Mevagissey every year since it began. This year is no different. We can be found singing in The Harbour Tavern at 9.00pm on Friday 11th and again at 6.00pm on Saturday 12th. Then in the Social Club at 8.00pm on Saturday 12th
So if you happen to be in the area, come and loin in with the harmonious Steepholmers - the best, totally acapella shanty crew from Weston-super-Mare.

Mick Fleetwood sends his thanks to all !
Mick Fleetwood (yes, the Mick of Fleetwood Mac) sends his heartfelt thanks to all those shanty bands around the country, participating in the various fund-raising activities who, through performances or their contribution to the recording, and subsequent sales of, sales of the Shanty Aid charity single - Rolling Down to Old Maui.

To date, approximately £1000 has been raised for Maui Food bank, helping those devastated by the wildfires last summer, as they start to rebuild their lives.
